Subscribe in a readerSomething about this new “singing” style done by Fergie and Gwen Stefani physically disturbs me. I can’t really put a finger on it, but it elicits a feeling akin to that I have when seeing that Six Flags commercial with the dancing bald old man.
Note: I don’t listen to popular music, but my ears are abused with such songs through the speakers of popular stores, television commercials and I heard the Stefani song for the first time on Ellen today.
She also performed “Sweet Escape” which sounds like a cover, but I can’t find anything on it. It at the very least ripped the melody of another song.
I dropped off my wife at work this morning around 5:40 am, and I turned on the cd player, and to my dismay….Gwen Stefani!
Grr…I had to ride home with it, because I had to keep my 4 eyes on the road.
It will definitely keep you awake that’s for sure.

Blockbuster doesn’t allow you to mail in the movies from the store.
Which is a downside.
However, for me, I live next door to one so it’s not a hassle.
In other cities, it may take a lot of driving.
