I’ve just finished reading Lynne Truss’ Eats, Shoots & Leaves, which is all about punctuation. I am one of those people who become quite disturbed upon seeing a sign with incorrect punctuation. I was weary at first that reading this book might make me even more of a stickler; however, it seems it has only caused me to second-guess my own punctuation (more so than usual, that is).
I also finished Norman Mailer’s latest novel, The Castle in the Forest, today. I have to say I was disappointed with it — and disappointed in the fact that I was disappointed with it.
